“Went here today for first time experiencing acupuncture. Scott did an excellent job and made sure I understood everything beforehand to make it comfortable.“

“Very knowledgeable and positive first session. Johanna is friendly, offers information as to root causes and why each treatment is being considered. I felt relief after the first session and look forward to the next one.“

“This morning, my mother and I took the baby to see Dr. Xie again. Before giving birth to the baby, I had a series of intervertebral discs in my lower back. It was so severe that I couldn't walk, so I was treated by an old Chinese medicine practitioner. After taking some medicine, the pain went away and I was able to walk again. The whole family is very nice. I highly recommend it. Don’t bury your conscience in traditional Chinese medicine.“

“You have to have an open-mind and trust when you receive a referral from someone that you also trust. I was recommended to try Dr. Ma by 2 professional dancers. One was cured of a life-long tennis elbow and the other cured of allergies. I went there because I had a small tear in my knee when squatting and putting down a heavy plant pot. While Dr. Ma cannot speak English, he understands. All he needs to know is where the pain is to reduce the inflammation. He has a natural gift and places the needles without hesitation. Contrary to the negative review, the needles all come from pre-sealed packages. The funny smell is that they burn certain herbs to help people to relax. Yes, it looks almost like a warehouse full of stuff but the rooms are clean and he knows what he is doing. He used to charge $60 about 5 years ago and that is a flat fee so it will be an hour or if you need 2 hours, it will still be the same price. He will be honest if you need one more session or several. If you prefer to see an acupuncturist that has Harvard medical school degrees but knows little and hides behind his marble office, then don't come here. Dr. Ma has a gift and it will be a loss for many when he leaves us.“
