“Express Bath and Kitchens just helped us renovate a condo. The biggest job was to redo a bathroom. We also needed new windows and doors. There was work we wanted to do ourselves but honestly, if you are smart, just give your property over to Beth and Anthony and let them do it all. In addition to remodeling the bathroom, they allowed their subs to add on work around the unit to keep costs down. I told them our budget and they stuck to it. Anthony made very experienced and sensible recommendations on what we should fix right away and what could wait. For example, he suggested attic access and it is amazing! For the cost of putting a hole in the ceiling we now have access to our dryer vent, found and corrected some electrical issues and added much needed storage. Beth jumped in to help with designer choices on paint, tile and accessories. She was lovely to work with, supportive or gently guiding depending on the choice. Anthony dealt with scheduling his workers, permitting and HOA approval. He just took over and got it all done. He stayed on schedule, communicated daily and either he or Beth visited 1-2 times a day at least. We felt so spoiled and truly got everything done that we needed to. I highly recommend using Express Bath and Kitchens if you are anywhere in the South Bay.“

“If you are removing acoustic 'popcorn' from ceilings, I recommend that you give Original Richard a chance. The crew is very experienced in the process. There are other companies that specialize in popcorn removal that bid less and told me they would do my 1100 sq. ft. job in just a day. I wanted a good job rather than a fast one. After getting the proposal from Steve at Original Richard and discussing the job I was convinced that Original Richard would do it best. They took 4 1/2 full days, usually with 4 guys, and got it right. They also changed out some ceiling lights to new LED lights. I could not be more satisfied with a one-stop contractor that got it right. I will remember them as 'Right Richard' rather than 'Original'.“

“My wife and I cannot say enough about the great experience we had working with Grace Cabinets for the installation of new cabinets in our fully remodeled kitchen. Fernando was a joy to work with, always open to our suggestions on the design, but also there to offer gentle advice and point us in the right direction. The prep work, craftsmanship and details of the finished cabinets exceeded our expectations, and the installation crews were always professional, tidy, and friendly. The cabinets were installed on schedule and in coordination with the counter installers and other subcontractors. Lastly, we will not hesitate to recommend Grace Cabinets in the future.“

“I wanted to get new gutters installed and have my house repainted,. I received a referral to Enrique Hernandez and his company, 3000 Construction, through another contractor who worked on a separate project for me, and who suggested that a general contractor might best fit my needs.

I contacted Enrique, and we promptly scheduled an appointment for an estimate. He sent me a very reasonable quote for the work, and we agreed to move forward with the job. He had a very capable crew of workers who did an excellent job of patching stucco where needed and prepping wood surfaces prior to painting. After most of the painting was done, he arranged for the gutter installation, along with leaf guard filters. Once the installation was complete (one day), the painters returned to finish up. The entire job moved at a brisk pace and was completed a few days ahead of schedule. The work was of high quality, and I'm very satisfied.

During the entire process, Enrique stopped by periodically to make certain the job was being done properly, and kept me informed as to what was scheduled next. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I highly recommend 3000 Construction to anyone looking for a great general contractor. I would not hesitate to call on him for any future projects.“

“Fermin and the guys at K.D. Construction did an amazing job on our backyard remodel. They built a new patio out of stone pavers, new planters including lighting, a paver walkway with lights as well as new grass and sprinkler system. They also rebuilt the patio columns to better support the upper deck. Thy added new water and gas lines to support the outdoor kitchen as well as painted all the perimeter walls and repaired the stucco of the garage and backside of the house. This is the 2nd big job KD has done for us. A few years ago they added the 2nd story to our house and pretty much rebuilt the house from the ground up. Great guy and great work!“

Beth and Chelsea provided a variety of design options and were completely accommodating of our odd requests (39” vs 36” height for countertops, an 18” elevated dishwasher platform, and no upper cabinetry, among others). Beth’s virtual mock-ups were particularly helpful in visualizing our plans. Our site manager Ryan was fabulous, and went above and beyond with communication and service, providing us with excellent practical advice and solutions for some of the problems our 1940-era house presented to his team. Ryan was consistently calm and positive about the project, and was also able to include several last-minute requests that made a big difference to the final look and our satisfaction with the job. The work was completed well within the proposed timeline, with no surprise charges. We would use this company again in a heartbeat—truly outstanding quality from start to finish from everyone at CDC.
