My mom lived in Riverside for over 50 years and she has used Mark Ballard of MB Plumbing, Heating and Air for years. She always told me how wonderful he was, but I got to experience it first hand when her heater wasn't working in March. He came out personally to help my mom, and made her feel special--like family, when he spent time listening to her. They replaced the heater within 24 hours (which was a blessing as my mom got very cold easily) and even put in a new A/C at a GREAT price since her appliances were old. I had a terrible previous experience with Appliance Repair Pros Inc. They charged me $395 for doing absolutely nothing. It is not easy finding people who are honest and trustworthy. The second I met Gabriel, I knew I could trust him. Gabriel showed me the things wrong with the AC unit and how Appliance Repair wrongfully charged us. I could not imagine going to anyone else for any other problems around the house.

As a minority and first-generation immigrant woman, I often experience overpriced quotations from contractors or technicians. I read a lot of reviews and research after our tenants texted us about an A/C issue on a late Friday afternoon. All A/C repair companies that work 7 days a week charge very high fees. Some of them even had very bad reviews from our neighbors on Nextdor or Facebook. Despite this, the earliest appointment I could get was on Tuesday. Luckily I found MB Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning through Nextdoor. They were recommended by a lot of our neighbors.
