“The move went way easier than I expected and your guys were great. All of them spoke both English and Spanish and even the least capable was highly fluent in both. All were easy to work with, careful, and efficient. I am not aware of one dent, bump, etc. in any of the walls or on the furniture either at the original site or the destination. There was no breakage. And they were done far quicker than I thought they would be.

Marc Giroux was also terrific to work with, getting everything organized and scheduled. And even though we almost had to change the move date due to some water damage at the destination, Marc was extremely flexible in working with us on that. Moving is stressful no matter how you slice it, this company kept the stress to an absolute minimum. Could not recommend them more highly.“

“For our bathroom project, we needed an older Jacuzzi tub/shower replaced with a big walk-in shower, to match the existing counters, flooring and cabinetry which had been remodeled a couple of years prior. I was especially impressed with the magnificent tiling job performed by MBK's Jaime Velasco, in response to our request. Not only was all of the wall design beautifully tiled, he fashioned special shelving, niches, and a bench, using wonderful craftmanship. In addition, the project was especially well-managed by Mike Moore, who was there every single day ensuring progress and coordination among the various subs. He was tireless and accommodating for the entire span of the construction, never losing his patience and good humor, as well as providing fine-tuning in several cases for finish carpentry, electrical oversight, and --especially--keeping the existing cabinetry, etc., as well as the rest of our house free of dust. “We interviewed four contractors for the remodel of our Rancho Santa Fe casita. Both of us were impressed with Fred from the start, making our choice easy. He came across as friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and responsive. Over the course of the project, our confidence in him just continued to grow. He was always accessible and never once made a promise he didn’t keep. We ran into a lot of bumps along the way, mainly due to post Covid supply line issues. Through no fault of Fred’s, the project took over two years to complete. One vendor in particular caused a one-year delay. Fred was our strong advocate with this vendor and was masterful in negotiating a resolution.
