I have been using PAMF internal medicine and their other facilities such as sports medicine for over 20 years. I've found them to be very helpful, my primary care doctor listens carefully to what I have to say, and so I highly recommend them.

I had a terrible experience with an OBGYN. I had asked for lidocaine for IUD removal. The response was, “I don’t even think the cervix has nerves that can be numbed.” “I don’t even know how that would even work.” The doctor was a little older but aren’t they expected to stay updated in their field? Who doesn’t know all the horror stories about women’s health nowadays?? Even non-professionals share stories all the time. If it’s her field, she should have this kind of basic knowledge.

I have had good care. My gastroenterologist saved my life! He realized something was wrong and pulled an early endoscopy and colonoscopy and saw my colorectal cancer in the early stage. He was able to remove about 1/2 my Colon and put me back together. All works great now and I am on a regimen for regular checks. That was 9 years ago. He was kind and supportive. I will never forget what he did for me.
