Outrageous billing. Two issues occurred:
1. My doctor recommended a covid/flu test during my visit. Going off of their recommendation I went through with the test. I was shocked to see that my insurance was billed $686 dollars for something that costs less than $20 at the supermarket. Ended up with a bill for $548.80 after insurance. Insane.
2. My husband and I have both had visits in the past year in urgent care where they billed us the wrong insurance code. They inflated the amount of time spent treating us. Look closely at your bill if you get treated here to make sure you’re not getting swindled.
