I own a senior living placement/referral agency, and I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Jenny, the owner of Heart of Gold Nursing, for several years. Outstanding professional, compassionate care. They went out of their way to make my father as comfortable as possible at the end of his life. Their partnership with Hospice also helped to provide comprehensive care.
It was a difficult time, but I’m thankful that Heart Of Gold was there to take the burden off my shoulders. For example, when it looked like the bed pads were running low, they would call me ahead of time and I would order more from Amazon. They were always on top of how my father was doing and had current updates whenever I called.
Could not have picked a better caregiver.

I’m a bit late in getting this to you. It’s now a few days past the three week mark from surgery. It will be a few more weeks before I’m ready to tackle my regular schedule. I want to say a few things about my nurse who took care of me for a period of 4 days. She was there for me each day and night after the surgery days and took me home and cared for me 24 hour after being home. I have to say there were periods of time I don’t remember everything, but that is when you need to have the confidence you have the right person taking care of your needs and comforts which Jenny Johnson with Heart of Gold Nursing provided me by selecting Candi to be my Nurse. Candi was wonderful, kind, and caring, and a qualified skilled nurse that was there at my side giving me all my required needs. I would highly recommend her and would request her service again if needed. My care giver, Stephanie, was amazing. I used her for a little more than a week after surgery to give me the help I needed for all my needs. Making sure I was taking the correct medications prescribe by my Doctor, eating the correct food and drinking fluids, assistance with my personal needs, bathing and changing bandages and taking me to my post-op DR appointments. Stephanie was perfect. Very professional, knowledgeable, caring, attentive, gentle, kind, supportive. Very accurate with dispensing medication. I highly recommend her and would use her services again if needed.
Jenny Johnson the owner of Heart of Gold Nursing was wonderful to work with, who made the time for a pre visit and also made a visit to my home to make sure all was going well. Jenny provided me with a skilled team which I needed for recovery.
