“Susanna is a truly amazing hairstylist. She was so gentle with my hair, even throughout the detangling process. As she washed, cut, and styled my hair, she told me what she was doing and checked with me before doing anything. At other salons, getting my hair washed can be an uncomfortable experience for me sometimes, but Susanna went out of her way to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible each step of the way, providing extra towels for my neck and checking if I was okay. When it came time to style my hair, I showed her a photo of how she styled it the previous time and she recreated it perfectly, spending extra time to add gorgeous waves. My hair was beautifully bouncy, voluminous, and healthy by the end of our appointment. I always feel so confident and refreshed after visiting Salon Beija Vu, and this will definitely be my go-to hair salon on the Monterey Peninsula for years to come! The salon itself has a beautifully-decorated interior, and it is on one of the cutest streets in downtown Monterey. “I popped into Ulta today to restock brow powder after using a wax center's brand for the last several years, but I was so overwhelmed with the different brands and options.I remembered I also needed facewash while there and Betty was fabulous directing me to a qualty brand I wouldn't have chosen otherwise but was within my price point. She's very knowledgeable and kind!I absolutely love that Ulta has testers of everything!Once I circled back around to the eyebrow stuff, I bumped into Fabiola and she was wonderful!! She's super sweet and showed me how to apply makeup quickly after I took her down an unintended rabbit hole with my curious questioning on unrelated topics lol. I had purchased foundation basics several weeks ago but she colored me with the extras like blush and contour and was a great teacher on how to apply at home!!! Her knowledge far supercedes just brows; Ulta should utilize the opportunity to grow and promote such a great employee.“

“Kaelyn is by far the most expert cutter of short hair on the planet! She has mastered the art of shaping and texturing my very fine, very straight greying hair into a Pixie cut that looks perfect on my head, even though I'm about 60 years past Pixie-hood. I don't know how she does it, though I do know she spends a lot of time on it (way more than most stylists would). And I don't help her much, being unskilled and uninterested in doing anything besides washing and drying it between cuts. If you need a short cut, don't go anywhere else. Kaelyn's the best. And if you want more sophisticated styling, color, whatever - I've heard it said that she's unmatched in those skills as well.“
