This is a follow up to the procedure that I had on 2/27/2023, at St Josephs. I went for a check up to St Jo's on 4/14/2023, to make sure all was going well. I, again, received outstanding care from all of the staff during my TEE procedure. Dr Thomas Kim came to see me before the procedure to review the procedure and ask if I had any questions. After the procedure, he went out to talk to my wife and assure her that all looked good and went well.Dr. Govan, my anesthesiologist, also came in to see me and explained what all he would be doing. A BIG BIG Thank You to the staff at SJ Urgent Care. Dr Houshiak and another Doctor whom I don't remember his name, you are Angel's. Prior to this, a doctor at CHOC ER failed us and discriminated against us majorly, berating me and my 3 year old special needs son for 20 minutes for not keeping his mask on when he kept pulling it off (he is nonverbal, had a very on and off high fever for 2 weeks, and he was scared because he couldn't breathe properly). She immediately said probably CoVid, and ran no other tests, "if it's CoVid, just go home." Turns out he did not have CoVid, which goes to show that not all Asians carry CoVid in our DNA. Leonard answered my phone call to schedule an appointment and he was amazing!!! Got me an appt same day, had a great attitude, and provided outstanding service. Give Leonard a raise cause he is doing everything right!
