I had a mixed but mostly positive experience at Chapman Global Medical Center in Orange. The hospital feels older and could use some updates, and communication could be better in certain areas. However, the nurses and medical staff were kind, professional, and attentive. During a stressful time, they made us feel supported and cared for. Overall, the staff made the biggest difference in our experience.
I had rotator cuff surgery at this hospital and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the service was awesome. The staff was attentive, patient and caring. I felt well informed of what the next steps were and completely at ease before my surgery. I was given post surgery care instructions and had an overall excellent experience here. My surgeon was Dr. Chueng and I wish I could remember the nurses names and anesthesiologist name but they were all great and I would highly recommend. I'm now 10 months post op and feeling great!
My dad was sent here (senior mental care unit) for ten days and the staff took extremely good care of him. Google’s low ratings scared me, but when I learned how senior mental care units work, I realized this group are professionals and experts.
Their nurses were kind and caring. I appreciated that the most. Their nurse supervisor (title?) Michael M was an angel and helped me get through these highly stressful ten days.
I know this type of facility may unnerve family members, especially if it’s the first time, but I’d like to send the staff a big thanks for doing their utmost.
