Came here after my father hit the back of his head on the pavement. They saw him swiftly, got a CT scan and everything in record time and sent us home. Never had such fast and great care.
I went in for an abscess inside my eye and I was very terrified. My nurse, Betty, was amazing and very caring. She guided me through everything and made sure I was comfortable every time she could pop in. If you could make her nurse of the year, do it! She was not only showing me that sincere care but to everyone she had. Thank you so much Betty 🙏🏻
My husband was sent for an urgent situation by his ophthalmologist. We have lived in Houston and the DC are. I have been in emergency rooms in several cities and states along with working in hospital and clinical settings. This is second worst only to the “new” St. Luke’s (now) Catholic Charities hospital in Houston (when it was run by the Episcopal Church it was much better).
Anyway, the ER waiting room was filthy. Patients have no place to go. They are assessed in this very public place, all insurance information and vitals are taken in front of everyone.
