I stopped in about 2 years ago to get some information on classes for my kids. I talked to Grand Master Doug Jones himself, but didn't know it at the time as he was telling me stories of his hobbies, kids, and community. I joined and bringing the kids as much as possible, great school for all levels!

I took DJ's class last night and LOVED it. Whew it was hard but what I was looking for to mix things up. The women there were so incredibly supportive and LOVED DJ and I can totally see why. I will definitely be back!

Simply put, DJs is the best. We enrolled our 9 year old son in the mixed martial arts class. Within a month, he's gone from a shy kid, to one who's confident and focused. It's tapped into his competitive side as well. Grandmaster DJ and ShiFu Andrea have a great way of engaging all the participants, young and old. Kick a** music as well. You definitely feel like family here. Best studio in Oakland!
