I always have a good experience at a current A Current Affair. I needed a new place because the place I had gone to wasn't returning my call to make an appointment. I think the whole pandemic may have affected my previous place. My previous place was in Hayward and I am in Alameda, A Current Affair is closer to me, it has parking right in front. It has a cute waiting area that has a calming feeling to it. It's quiet. Carrol is very good at what she does. She offers other services like acupuncture and facials. Carrol was great. I saw her for electrolysis to prepare an area that needs to be hair-free for a surgery requiring a skin graft. She was efficient and gentle and did a great job.Not really sure what other people are talking about with the parking... Yes, it's a tiny building and there aren't a lot of spots. It's not very hard to find, and she gave me clear directions. One time I went, all the spots were full, and I parked on the street directly across the street where there was plenty of free street parking... Leave a few extra minutes to find a spot and you'll be good.

I’ve been coming to A Current Affair for the last 15 years for Skin Care, Acupunture & Electrolysis.... I have absolutely loved my experience with Carol and the results show! I feel so lucky to have found someone local, who I trust. I highly recommend Carol, she is knowledgeable, interested & interesting. I have never had a problem scheduling a convenient time & love that i support someone local to our community. Go see Carol, you won’t regret it!
