“I just went to Alison for the first time last week. I was very happy with how my hair turned out and enjoyed my appointment. I brought her a picture of the chocolate brown hair with a red tone and she got me the color I was looking for. My hubby said my hair looked “beautiful and natural” after my appointment. “So i'd been following Elena on IG for awhile. Watching how beautifully she did color and hair extensions....One day in the recent past, my friend took a video of me from behind - i was shook! I thought....wait, that's what my hair looks like from behind? I never look at myself from behind and I allow it to rough dry a lot so it's kinda messy looking. Turns out...it was broken off in a big chunk in the back. I had no idea. I knew I had some damage but not an entire hole . I booked a consultation and elena spent an hour with me going over my options. Today I went in and she gave me beautiful color with no further damage AND extensions to fill in the hole created by all the breakage. She is thoughtful in her work and gives you her full attention. “Toni is awesome! I was super nervous about getting my curly locks cut and finally got the guts to give this a try. She looked at my hair and asked about what I put in it and then asked me what I was looking for in a cut. She then showed me styles and pointed out different things/asked what I liked. She was very patient and sweet and not pushy at all. We went with a conservative cut but she took all the split end and put in layers and carved my hair to bring out my curls. She then showed me how she was styling my hair. I felt like it was very reasonable and is something within my reach of also doing. She spent 2 and a half hours with me and I felt like it was well worth the price! She is seriously great and I would recommend her to any curly haired person!“

“I used the mobile service where Katsu drives his van to meet you and the service was wash cut and blow dry. I was happy with the service and outcome, would use this again especially since it saves time. For the details: I made my appointment through yelp as I was not able to get through using his website. He was prompt and we agreed on a time that was less than 24 hours away, which I was glad he had the opening. We also confirmed price, note that posted pricing on website or elsewhere might be outdated. He arrived on time for the appointment and the interior of the van was neat and clean. I chose to keep my mask on and the van door open. He listened to my specific request for the haircut and proceeded to cut and paused for feedback and then cut again. I was happy that he was careful and meticulous to be sure it was what I wanted. For the wash, it was pretty close to being at a salon minus music. Water was a good warm temperature. For the blow dry, he was gentle and final hair was styled nicely. The only slight con is that the generator on the back of the van is fairly noisy, it was turned on for the blow dry part. I can see how this mobile service is useful for busy moms, people who work from home or people who can't leave their homes for long. I chose Katsu in particular as I have thick and slippery Asian hair and my usual hairdresser had left the area. A final note, I found Katsu to be courteous and reserved/quiet. This was fine with me as I'm not chatty normally.“

“Alexis is such a gem! I know very little about the hair world, but I always leave her chair with new knowledge and/or a new product recommendation. I love that Alexis prioritizes hair health, in and outside of the salon. A previous hair dresser left my hair feeling straw-like after a balayage. After two sessions of bleach with Alexis, my hair still feels smooth and healthy. She's also super fun to talk to - appointments don't feel like three hours. If you are aiming to go from dark to blonde as quickly and as cheaply as possible, she may not be the best fit. However, if you are able and willing to spend time and money to transition in a way that maintains the integrity of your hair, Alexis is your girl.“
