He walked me through options to ensure we got what we needed and guided us away from more expensive options, explaining differences in raw materials, which I appreciated.The project went smoothly, on-time, and on-budget and the quality of work was great. I then contracted with Mike for 2 other projects, which also went like clockwork. “Been meaning to write this for a while. Quite a few years ago -- like 10 -- Clough Construction replaced my old rotting deck with a new one at my house in Sausalito. The deck is perfect with no complaints. Some months ago I noticed that water was seeping into my living room which adjoins the deck as a few spots of flooring were showing signs of warping. I called Clough thinking perhaps the deck was the problem. Even though this kind of thing (house leaks) isn't really something Clough does, they came out to help me figure out what the problem was. Turns out the problem was the that the water was seeping in around the edges of the floor to ceiling windows. Not only did they identify the problem, but their man went back to his truck, came back with caulk and re-applied caulk to all of the windows around the deck. Took him probably half an hour. Would have taken me three! I then called Clough to thank them and pay the bill. Instead they just said this one is one us, glad we were able to fix the problem. That's customer relations commitment like one rarely sees. Highly, very highly recommend Clough for any project you might have.“
