My mom is 88 years young and during one of the heat waves this past summer her air conditioning went out. The rep on the phone was so concerned she reached out to the owner of the company to see what could be done. Claudio came out that day as his last call and was able to replace a part that was leaking and refill with coolant. We were all able to sleep better knowing my mom would be OK. AC unit was putting out air but not cooled air. Called Monteros and they were able to send out a technician the very same day! Alex diagnosed the problem (blown capacitor) and replaced the broken part. One of his associates also came for the first few moments to determine the best approach to get on our upper roof (home has 2 roofs and the AV unit was on the higher second roof). Everyone I dealt with at Monteros was knowledgeable, personable and efficient. Price for diagnosis and repair was quite reasonable. I would call these guys again in a heartbeat.

Saturday morning, February 11th, our furnace stopped working, it needed a new heater motor. Called + emailed 5 places (recommended from Nextdoor & Yelp), with all information, everyone wanted to charge $75 to $179, to come out and look. I said it would be best to see if they could get the part, as we knew what we needed.Thankfully, we found Claudio Monteros, he came to our home, took the old motor, and said he would find a replacement. So he did, it was express shipped from San Diego, to SF Bay area, and when it came in earlier than expected, Claudio came to our home 4pm (instead of 11am next day) and did the installation with professionalism, and the kindest personality....read full review
