“Small office but sufficient for what is needed to be done! The doctors are first generation Chinese born and grew up locally, speaks English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. They are hi-tech with electronic sign-in, instrumental treatment, automatic machines and wonderful caring staff. The doctors really care for the cause of your problem by making sure you look into your daily posture for causes of pain. They have free webinars and health talks. They also travel out for lectures. Just a wonderful group of doctors and staff! :-)“

“Dr. Ma is an amazing Chinese Dr. with a unique style of acupuncture techniques. I have been seeing Dr. Ma for chronic neck and shoulders pain, 10+ years high blood pressure recently. After a few treatments, my blood pressure from 190/103 dropped to: 139/85, 127/75. I just can't thank Dr. Ma enough. She is a very conscientious person. She works hard and remembers every patient's condition. She is very attentive, experienced and integrates valuable Chinese medicine into every patient. “I am a single father that struggled to find helpful resources for my 6 year old autistic son, Ayden, that is non-verbal. I leaned on my job's network and I had multiple peers singing the praises of Bright Stars for speech therapy. Due to the hurdles I have faced in the past, I was rather pessimistic at first and made some assumptions, that maybe this place would be like others with a long waitlist and would just forget about me. However, Kristen White reached out to me even though there was a waitlist and pulled some strings to assist me in getting care that I need because she saw how bad I was struggling. Her smile and calming tone gave me hope that there was a light at the end of the tunnel with getting my child the help he needs. After the evaluation, we did not have to wait too long before we are connected with Chelsea Miranda. She was an amazing start in my speech therapy journey and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. My son, Ayden, would run to her in excitement and ready for the educational play. Although she informed me she was relatively new, I feel like her willingness to engage with my son every session and focusing on building a connection won me over with Bright Stars. Due to scheduling issues I am having at the moment, unfortunately we no longer could work with Chelsea. On the other hand, in life when one door closes another door opens, and I could not be more happy to start working with Dakota Noble. When I tell you, I was nearly emotional after our first few sessions because I felt like the insurance commercial, I am finally in good hands. The cool thing about Dakota is that she have a vast background working with autistic children and day one I could tell she was the one (therapist wise of course, don't want my girlfriend mad at me). The way Ayden runs to the center and grabs her hand and take her to the room for their session warms my heart. I am just an engineer that is still figuring out this fatherhood and child services for a special needs child out. Not only has Ayden been building a connection and growing, but she has been an outstanding mentor from a parenting perspective on figuring out how to navigate everything. She is so intelligent, patience, and kind. It is an interesting feeling to not only have your child feeling heard, understood, and seen, but a parent that is fighting to be the best parent they can be feeling the same way is unmatched. So I say all of this because I wanted to show my appreciation of the Bright Stars staff that includes the front desk that has worked with my chaotic schedule too, Candace Carson-Brunt and Carol Cabri. “For years, my family has lived in San Jose and received exceptional care from Crescent Medical Center. They have provided us with emergency and non-emergency medical attention, as well as minor and major surgeries, and cancer treatments. The medical staff has saved my father's life multiple times, and for that, I am forever grateful.Moreover, the nurses and doctors have provided irreplaceable bedside manners to both the patients and their family. I have never had an attending doctor neglect calling me with updates, even after hours. During a recent ER visit, the staff was incredible, ultimately admitting my father. “My therapist recommended I try Neuro Feedback therapy for my lifelong battle with anxiety. I started my sessions in January, and I noticed a change almost immediately. After about 3-4 sessions, my anxiety level had significantly decreased. I completed 22 sessions. I still cannot explain how neuro feedback works, but it works! I now have mild anxiety about things I should be anxious about, but I do not stress over every little thing that is happening to me or around me like I did before this therapy. That is a huge life changing improvement for me. I recommend this therapy for those that are suffering from anxiety and have trouble focusing and completing simple tasks. The only concern I have is the cost. You are required to pay for all sessions upfront which can be a non-starter for many people. However, the cost per session is pretty much competitive with other clinics, but paying for 20+ sessions upfront is extremely difficult. I want to close by thanking the Walnut Creek staff.
