Sugar Spa
“Gave Sugar Spa a try the other day, and booked for an underarm and Brazilian.
AK did my underarms. She was quick, even finished by plucking the last piece of stubborn hair, and was very nice. She’s the very chatty type (which I am not as much) but it was a pleasant service nonetheless - despite the pain because I had been shaving my underarms the past two months. Plucking didn’t hurt though so it was a bonus!
Angela did my Brazilian. From what I understood she is the manager there. Not the chatty type, which I didn’t mind. Getting wax down there is never pleasant, especially first thing in the morning, but honestly due to her experience and skills, it wasn’t as bad as what I usually experience. And it was quite quick! I wasn’t sure if the Brazilian came with the butt strip, but it does! She didn’t pluck the stubborn/small hair but I didn’t mind because I usually don’t enjoy that when my regular sugarist does it. I rather do it at home even if I have to bend in every way imaginable.
Angela also informed me that I had dry skin and she recommended me some products when I asked for her professional opinion.
I spent I believe $115 including the tips. My appointment was at 1015 and I think I waited about 10min for my service. Quite an expense but I’d come back. Plus it’s a cute spot, very close to home and it seems to be well maintained.”
