I am surprised that yelp does not have more reviews for this place. I was very lucky to have a found Lizi's studio on Google. I was searching for Photo Studios that did traditional Chinese photography and costumes that were very popular in Temple city over 15 years ago. But those places have all since closed. I wanted to plan out a photo shoot with my mom and my sisters for Mother's Day. And Liz was so kind to accommodate us and we had a lot of fun. We spent the entire day shooting all sorts of backdrops in our Shanghai qipao dresses. I plan to go back next year on my own to do Hanfu style photos. Liz's photoshop skills are also top notch. I came to Liz mainly for a traditional Chinese hanfu photoshoot. Some thoughts:–prompt communicator–gorgeous, authentic hairstyling and makeup–helpful direction in posing and facial expressions–great eye for detail, lighting, composition–professional, talented, nice, easy to work withHer prices are more than reasonable, given all the work that went into hairstyling, makeup, the actual photo session, and image retouching.I have already recommended her to friends and family, and would be very excited to work with her again in the future.

Liz is an amazing multilingual professional photographer that is gratifying to work with. We were able to try different outfits/looks before deciding on which one to do the photo shoot in. She was able to direct us in our facial expressions, poses, use of props, etc. on the shoot. Additionally, she was full of positive energy when doing a full day shoot from 9am-7pm including doing makeup, hair styling, prop setup, and photography for both an indoor and outdoor shoot. Thanks to her we were able to efficiently get through all the photography locations on the docket. Thank you Liz for all the time, energy, and professionalism you gave us.
