This cemetery holds a lot of Modesto’s history. Many of the people whose names appear on local streets are laid to rest here. The grounds are green, well-manicured, and beautifully maintained. There was even a friendly dog that followed us around, which was a pleasant surprise. The overall atmosphere is peaceful, and you can truly feel the history of this place

Any sudden loss is devastating. No one knows how to deal with all the planning after the loss. We depend on the people running the memorial service and the cemetery. We initially were going with someone else, but were not quite comfortable with the price and area & service. It was outrageous cost but then again we didn't know any better. We decided to visit "Acacia cemetery" they were amazing & had a beautiful area for our loved one. The maintenance and upkeep is also great. The best part was the pricing. It was almost 3 times less & it included everything. Every time I visit the site, I feel a calmness & peace. The only thing that bothers me, is seeing people be disrespectful by walking on loved ones graves & markers. There should be some ground rules put in place to respect our loved ones.
