We had A Step Above install our laminate flooring throughout our entire home. They did an excellent job. We were very pleased with the entire project. The owner, Fred, gave us several ideas and options and was very personable and easy to work with. He has a huge store in Modesto with huge quantities of material to select. His workers were very professional and expertly finished the job. We were so pleased that we called Fred again to remodel our master bedroom shower. He helped us design and select the tile, accent trim, and tile floor. The shower looks great. We highly recommend A Step Above Flooring.

I had a water line which feeds the ice maker break and cause my hardwood floors to cup in my kitchen. The hardwood floors run continuous throughout the main level so the entire main level flooring had to be sanded and refinished. I got 4 floor quotes and Step Above Flooring had the best price and value. They did a beautiful job refinishing the floors and were very professional. I then had a separate contractor reinstall the furniture and this contractor damaged the newly refinished floors. I hired Step Above to come back and fix the floors and they again look good as new.
