“We stayed three nights at the Nicholson House and had a great time!!

The hotel is small and cute. The room was very clean, with fresh air. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt clean and airy. I had fun sleeping in them (they didn't feel old or smelly at all like many other hotels). The nightstand is convenient to use, with everything you need right next to you.

There is a coffee and tea shelf and a refrigerator with a small freezer. We tried the chocolate pralines that were in the fridge (for a fee), they were delicious although a little too sweet for me.

The bathroom was clean and aesthetic and the floor there was heated and pleasant for bare feet.

The design of the room is beautiful. There is plenty of sunlight and curtains that seal out the light well if necessary.

The room was a perfect combination of modern and classic design, with aesthetics combined with comfort.

We received many free treats such as a pair of small fresh pastries and liqueur, body butter and special gardening items. All together made the experience a luxurious experience, just like a vacation should be.

In the morning we received vouchers for free coffee and pastry from the cafe next door. Their coffee was excellent and the pastries were delicious and freshly baked on site.

The location of the hotel is perfect. There is parking on the street (we didn't move the car during our stay there so we didn't have to deal with finding parking). The downtown is a very short walk away, with lots of restaurants, cafes and sweet shops. I highly recommend trying the Italian restaurant next door named Luna, the food there is excellent!

The ocean is also a walking distance and there are beautiful view points.

Don't miss the little garden behind the hotel. There is beautiful vegetation, a small lake with frogs that chatter loudly, chairs and a view of the ocean.

There is only one thing that bothered me a little, the water pressure in the shower was too weak. As someone with long and full hair, it is a bit difficult to wash your hair with such a weak stream of water. I hope they improve it.

Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and they totally deserve five stars!! Thank you Nicholson Hotel for a lovely vacation!“
