Nicholson House at Beaujolais Mendocino

Nicholson House is a place for those who appreciate customer service and quality over quantity.Our room was on the small size with some privacy issues but the service, the attention to detail and the quality of the product is outstanding. In addition to this it's location is close to places to eat, stores and the coast trails.I certainly recommend others to consider it for your lodging needs.

I don't have enough good things to say about Nicholson House! We booked a last minute trip to Mendocino with our two dogs for the long weekend. Nicholson House is beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking and so thoughtfully designed. The room itself was a dream - I am so picky about hotel rooms and have to say this might be the nicest room I have ever stayed in. The room design was stunning, with amazing vintage pieces, stunning decor, and the most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on. Nicholson House is awesome, from the heated floors in the bathrooms to the whiskey-flagon-and-madeleine welcome in the room. This is a first-rate place with easy walking access to food, shopping, nature and all Mendocino offers.The decor evokes an older era, and the presentation and amenities are first rate.I particularly enjoyed the phonograph and jazz records in the room. Everything is well done at the property, which has a supportive and welcoming staff. The general manager of this boutique place is attentive and helpful.
