I can’t thank Khamoor enough for her incredible attention to detail and the love and care she put into the florals for our wedding at Heartwood.
Khamoor took the time to carefully walk through the vision for our big day and wow did it exceed our expectations. People could not stop talking about how absolutely incredible the florals and design of our wedding were. Khamoor also made the process unbelievably easy and we felt so wonderful knowing we were in good hands and didn’t have to worry for a second about florals.
We stayed three nights at the Nicholson House and had a great time!!
The hotel is small and cute. The room was very clean, with fresh air. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt clean and airy. I had fun sleeping in them (they didn't feel old or smelly at all like many other hotels). The nightstand is convenient to use, with everything you need right next to you.
There is a coffee and tea shelf and a refrigerator with a small freezer. We tried the chocolate pralines that were in the fridge (for a fee), they were delicious although a little too sweet for me.
The bathroom was clean and aesthetic and the floor there was heated and pleasant for bare feet.
The design of the room is beautiful. There is plenty of sunlight and curtains that seal out the light well if necessary.
The room was a perfect combination of modern and classic design, with aesthetics combined with comfort.
We received many free treats such as a pair of small fresh pastries and liqueur, body butter and special gardening items. All together made the experience a luxurious experience, just like a vacation should be.
In the morning we received vouchers for free coffee and pastry from the cafe next door. Their coffee was excellent and the pastries were delicious and freshly baked on site.
The location of the hotel is perfect. There is parking on the street (we didn't move the car during our stay there so we didn't have to deal with finding parking). The downtown is a very short walk away, with lots of restaurants, cafes and sweet shops. I highly recommend trying the Italian restaurant next door named Luna, the food there is excellent!
The ocean is also a walking distance and there are beautiful view points.
Don't miss the little garden behind the hotel. There is beautiful vegetation, a small lake with frogs that chatter loudly, chairs and a view of the ocean.
There is only one thing that bothered me a little, the water pressure in the shower was too weak. As someone with long and full hair, it is a bit difficult to wash your hair with such a weak stream of water. I hope they improve it.
Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and they totally deserve five stars!! Thank you Nicholson Hotel for a lovely vacation!
We boarded my dog at Woodland Kennel over spring break. She was very well cared for. I would definitely recommend them for pet boarding.
Siobhan is a master of massage!!! I see her once a month for a 90 minute massage, sometimes twice a month when needed. She is one of the best massage therapists I have ever had. I have been getting massages for 20 years by various massage therapists due to location, travel, etc. Siobhan has a sweet personality, kind and consistent, thorough, she listens, makes you feel comfortable, she has strong hands and a great touch. She is gentle if needed and gives a great deep tissue massage as well. I could go on! I leave feeling amazing every time. Her studio is quaint and cozy and she is always on time. She is the best! HIGHLY recommend if you want to feel your best.
Aum construction is highly capable and professional. Everyone who works there is wonderful. I recommend them over any other contractor because they can do any job flawlessly with precision and accuracy. Highly recommend if you want something done right !
Simone is a world-class instructor and the studio is clean and state of the art. I am so grateful to have this amazing pilates training here in Mendocino!
Sydney is so wonderful! I love her, I love her beautiful studio inside and out... And... I love my cuts! She is nurturing, thoughtful, fun and kind hearted. I've been going to her since I moved to the area and was so nervous about starting all over again with a new stylist. She immediately put me at ease and I feel so lucky to have found her!
Eli and his crew are the best! A leak in my shower appeared late Friday afternoon; Travis was here to fix it within about an hour . He then went the extra mile to find a workable solution, requiring him to even get help from a neighboring business, and all was repaired that evening. Can't say enough good things about this company!

Ann was so lovely to work with. I talked with her several times before our arrival for our wedding and she ensured that my pup's stays were seamless! She observed the dog's initial introductions appropriately and loved our Roma! Absolutely beautiful and stunning property for pups to hang out!
I left the spa feeling brand new. Jacqueline made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and Sophie made my husband and I feel warm and welcome. Definitely plan on coming back!

Sally has been highlighting my hair since I moved to Willits over 20 years ago. She is the best colorist I've ever had and I've been dying my hair since high school so that says a lot! Last time I saw her she did a new cut for me with bangs. Love it!Service: Haircut
