“I was totally amazed with Ms. Liz. She changed my incision tapes on Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift. She has the most up to date equipment and medical grade items. I am only 2 weeks post op and still in some pain. I will be returning to her to remove my drainage tube and lymphatic drainage massage. I encountered a complication on my stomach due to the faja being too tight and suffered an injury to the skin which has turned to necrosis. She will be helping me to recuperate from this as well. Bottom line if you’re looking for professionalism and someone who knows what they’re doing I recommend Downey Skin and Body Therapy.“

“I’ve been here multiple times and had good experiences with different nail techs. On my most recent visit, I saw someone new and asked specifically for regular gel—not builder gel—because I don’t like the way builder gel feels. She assured me it was the same base as regular gel, so I went ahead with it.

However, when I went to pay, I was charged for builder gel, which was a bit awkward since I had clarified in advance. They did discount the $5 difference, but unfortunately, the quality wasn’t great—my nails were uneven, blotchy at the edges, and didn’t go all the way to the tips.

The next day, I requested a redo with my usual nail tech, Kate. The salon had no issue fixing the work, and I paid the difference for a design. You could instantly see the difference in quality—Kate’s work is clean, detailed, and exactly what I wanted. She's truly a great nail tech and the reason I keep coming back.“
