I waited outside the salon for 30 mins and was told the salon opened at 10:30am despite the hours posted outside and online. I was asked to return in thirty minutes and was given a rushed and sloppy pedicure and a terrible paint job. I expected a better service for the price.
so i've been coming here with my grandmother since i was little and have never had an issue until i went in today for gel-x. i showed a very clear picture of what i wanted. of course not all nail salons are able to do the same things so naturally, i asked if they were even able to do the design, and if they had the little pearl for the middle of the bows that i wanted and they spoke about it for a while, then came to the conclusion that they were able to do the design. she starts my nails and puts probably have of them on crooked. she then starts to do the french tip part of the design and makes the tip very thick so i very politely asked her to make them thinner and she did, but then she would add more polish, and made it thick again so i had to ask her to fix it again which is whatever but this kept going on and on and on. eventually i gave up and kept them how they were because i was already there for 2 hours which is also crazy. she says she's going to start on the bows and she asked me to pull up the picture again. she says she doesn't have the pearls. i'm already annoyed about the french tips being too thick so i said okay well if i had known that then i would've picked something else because i had another option which was white chrome. so i asked her to redo them because im sorry but i said specifically what i wanted and if they couldn't do it they should've said so. then after a long conversation they tell me i have to pay the price of the design nails and i tell them im not doing that because i've already been here for so long and they don't even look good. so she starts putting the white chrome over the french tips that she painted on so it's so thick and there's fuzz everywhere from the paper towels she's using on my nails. when she finishes it doesn't even look chrome it looks like white with sparkles on it. i'm very upset at this point. i complain and still have to pay $85 for this. the girl said in a bitchy tone "happy birthday here's $10" and hands me $10 back. she also asked me why i need them to look exactly how i want. why would i pay for something that i don't like? i would've picked plain blue had they told me. im 16 and spent my own money on my nails for my birthday and every time i look at my hands i want to cry. astronomically dissatisfied. don't come here unless you want a solid color.
Been coming for 3 years - absolutely loved my experience at the nail salon! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and my manicure turned out stunning. Highly recommend!
