She stood out as different to me because she truly listened to my concerns, was patient and effective. Recently, I had a serious issue and the Dr. Lee at DDDOC, and a physicians assistant Leslie Whitney were relentless in trying to find out what the problem was and cure me. This included numerous tests, procedures, home IV and home nurses and a referral to other related Dr specialities. I continue to be impressed with the staff for its efficientcy , and how kind all of the Dr and staff are. One thing I learned is to use their in-house website for even faster responses.“

My mom and grandma have been well taken care of over the years by them but we’ve needed their support and help even more so recently after my grandmother was discharged home from the hospital. “This place is so close to the house I decided to give it a try. Didn't even wait an hour so came at a good time (after 5pm on a Tues). The receptionist was polite and told me what to do. It's really nice inside so don't let the outside fool you. The MA/nurse who took me back was very nice and listened to what i said and had a sense of humor too! I was seen by the doctor VERY quickly who was super cool. She eased all my concerns and answered my questions and gave me advice. Unfortunately i didnt catch her name. She made time for me instead of brushing me off. And the next day when I needed my visit notes faxed to my PCP the person did it immediately while I was on the phone! I would definitely come here again. Minimal parking because its on a busy street but clean bathrooms!“

This is a review for Dr. Kazuto Augustus. I have been seeing Dr. Augustus for 18 months. Dr. Augustus has been consistently kind, caring, and respectful throughout our interactions. In addition, Dr. Augustus has been affable and a very good listener during my visits, and makes you feel comfortable and attended to. How often can you say that about a physician, much less a specialist? My foot needs are somewhat unique, and Dr. Augustus took many variables into account before recommending a treatment for my diabetic neuropathy that I had never heard of (Qutenza). He seems to be expert and knowledgeable. The treatment has been quite successful so far, although there are several months to go. At West Coast Foot and Ankle (Long Beach Office) the staff have been serious but polite and efficient. There was one time when the ball got dropped in communication with the specialty pharmacy, but that quickly got fixed. Overall two thumbs up.“
