“I was looking for a summer activity for 2 of my daughters between their baseball seasons. They enjoyed the trial class and I liked the staff so I signed them up. After the second or third class, I met the owner/head black belt, Professor Bill and immediately felt the pull. After a short while, I signed up. My then 4- year- old wanted to be like her sisters so I signed her up to the peewee class too. This school has brought us together through an activity we all enjoy and has pushed us all harder than we thought we could go. “Like many of us, I’ve had my own personal struggles and issues. 8 years ago, I met sensei Marcos Rubio. I walked into the dojo one day and tried out a lesson with him. One lesson was all it took for me to know this was something I wanted to be a part of and I made the decision to sign up.
