I asked my old stylist for someone who could a precision bob here in Long Beach and she recommended Rozy and I couldn't be more grateful. Not only does she do an amazing job but she thoroughly explains what's happening which eases my anxiety. Not only am I particular with my cuts she does an amazing job with color and knows how to deal with naturally very dark and thick half Asian hair.So yes, if you want someone technically skilled she's your girl..BUT there's more, she's genuinely a kind, loving and beautiful person. Her space is as inviting and warm as she is. She's great at her craft and also is an amazing member of the community/city of Long Beach.“

But when I moved to Long Beach I tried THREE different salons with really mixed results (mediocre cuts, burned scalp, questionable dye jobs). Then I found Travis Hite. Besides being a wonderful human, he is one of the BEST stylists I have ever experienced. He is an Artist! He's incredibly precise, knows his s**** and I ALWAYS LOVE the results. I can also rely on him to help keep me on trend and not let me get stuck in a look. For me, one of the main signs of a great stylist is how well their cuts grow out. Don't know how he does it, but my cut retains the crispness & shape through months of new growth. And, I felt totally safe because his Covid precautions (outlined on his website) are exemplary.“

“The owner of the salon, Miko took care of me for my hair extensions and hair trim. I came in with ratty broken hair that needed a bit of love. Miko is knowledgeable, kind and professional, not to mention a perfectionist. This was my first time getting this particular method of hair extensions and it was worth all the money and time! My scalp felt sensitive for a day or two after but that is to be expected. Her salon is very chic and yet modern. The decor and the vibes on point. Everyone in there were super sweet and courteous. I'd definitely recommend going to this salon for your next hair appt!“
“I've been coming here for a few years now and Ken is the absolute BEST! He always listens to what I want and gives advice on how to style with that type of haircut or how high or low maintenance that cut is going to be. I really appreciate that because sometimes I just know I'm not going to blow-dry, curl, and pray to the hair gods for a good hair day everyday, so Ken's advice is solid! lol!Prices are SUPER reasonable, everyone that works at the shop is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the shop is nice and clean ? I definitely recommend trying to schedule your appointment instead of trying to walk in; these guys are usually booked so give them some time to set you up.
