“This review is specifically about the lash services, not the skincare services offered at the same location.

If you’re looking for hybrid or volume lashes, this may be a good place to go. The lash artist is fast, productive, and does a good job making clients feel comfortable during the appointment.

However, if you’re looking for a very natural or true classic lash set, this may not be the best fit. In my experience, even when I asked and paid for classic lashes, the sets were applied with fans/clusters rather than true one-to-one classic lashes. When the lashes started to shed, I could see multiple extensions attached to a single natural lash, which made the final look much fuller than what I originally asked for. The result looked more like a hybrid or volume set rather than a natural classic set.

I gave this place a few chances because the artist is kind and efficient, but each time the result ended up being much fuller than what I requested.

Another thing to note is that the location can be a bit confusing and the surrounding area felt a little sketchy the first few times I went, and it wasn’t very clear where to enter the building.

Overall, if you prefer fuller lash styles like hybrid or volume, you may be happy here. But if you specifically want very natural, one-to-one classic lashes, it might not be the right place. Great price though and kind staff.“

The space is beautiful, the people are friendly and knowledgeable, and I was comfortable during my services. I am glad to have Beauty by Hannah Lebron in our neighborhood. P.S. “I have been coming to Knots in Knead since 2021 and cannot recommend them highly enough! Their monthly memberships are a terrific deal, especially their massage/facial one, and they have excellent staff that are skilled and knowledgeable.

Claudia is my go-to for facials and waxes, she keeps my skin glowing and recommends great products for me to use at home. She knows my skin really well and knows exactly when it can handle extra treatments or just needs a refresh.

Elly is a very skilled acupuncturist and TCM practitioner. I recently went on a trip to Southeast Asia and the digestive herb blend she procured for me saved me from tummy issues! She’s also a gentle needler and I always leave my acupuncture sessions feeling refreshed.

Knots in Knead will stay my go to spa in San Diego for anything I need! So happy I found this little oasis.“

All depends who you get. Also no guarantee that you get who you book. Multiple poor reviews state bad experiences with certain masseuses, with Owners response that they have a zero tolerance policy for that behavior. Well those individuals are still there. I have experienced similar behavior in my last few visits.

It is a shame, this place opened up and had nothing but good experiences for me and the wife. Time to look elsewhere.“
