We chose the Lafayette as an indulgence for our California adventure. We were married in a small ceremony at a regional park nearby and celebrated with a wonderful, intimate dinner at the Bistro. Perfect! Staff were all friendly and attentive during our entire stay. Highly recommend and we’ll be back in the future to celebrate anniversaries.
As Pro Photographers we have enjoyed working @ this venue. The staircase is a must for group portraits along with the fireplace area, courtyard and driveway.
I've been to this hotel spa several times and I love it here. it's a wonderful getaway close to home, and I always come home feeling refreshed. The spa has wonderful offerings, and the staff is always accommodating and professional. The massage therapists are skilled and leave me feeling AMAZING. My husband and I always get the couples massage which is in a cozy darkened room, and it's very relaxing and intimate. And they offer free herbal tea beforehand and champagne afterwards. There's also unlimited use of the heated pool, hot tub and sauna. We always get a room that has a fireplace ( more romance! ) And the beds are very very comfortable. Everytime I've called ahead and asked for the room to be stocked or to have chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, they've always come through. The food in their restaurant is always fresh and DELICIOUS. And should you choose room service ( which I believe is available until 10pm ) the food arrives hot and is just as good as at the table in the restaurant. Did I mention that the hotel feels European and everyone is friendly? Also there's some good photo ops around the grounds and even in the hotel itself. Plan on staying at least 3 nights, if not you'll be sorry you didn't! I give Lafayette Park hotel and spa five stars! We'll be back again!
