I called Rob when another electrician tried to up-sell me to rewire the main box because the long-gone manufacturer had some issues with a box, etc. A GC told me that was unnecessary. I then called Rob. He installed what I needed and fixed an A/C problem quickly and efficiently, charged me his minimum, and everything has been fine.“

“The job got off a bit roughly when they were late, but they called to explain that one of their electricians had called in sick and they were scrambling to cover all the scheduled jobs. They offered to reschedule me for the following morning or later that same day. I chose later that day and Derek showed up as promised and completed the job in half the time they originally estimated. Due to CA regulations, each fuse box in each unit needed to be moved from inside the closets which was not in plain view.Each panel in each apartment (7 units plus the Laundry Room) needed to be moved to a visible place in each unit in compliance with the CA apartment code.Miramontes Electric constructed a great plan, very timely, very reasonable, and at a fair cost. “We contacted Peter Erwin within a few weeks before the deadline for net-metering (NEM) 2.0 applications in California. This was after one of the big solar companies had declined our project because our main panel was not considered solar ready. Pete completely saved the project (and the day) for us: He installed a new main panel, elegantly kept the old panel as a sub-panel and also found a solution to keep the required distance from the gas aerator despite the relative lack of space where the new panel needed to be placed. He then installed solar panels for us at a fair price. Just like with the main panel, Pete completely followed through with this project, too. All of Pete's work has been done according to code, and we have now been enjoying the green energy from our solar system as well as the benefits of the NEM 2.0 program for several weeks - all thanks to Pete. In July 2023, I found Ray on Yelp, and he immediately responded to my inquiries, and later I hired this young man to get my whole house rewired and have my electrical panel upgraded. This big project was carried out successfully, and I am satisfied with his work. He is an intelligent and hard working professional. Only after one week, he made impressive progress in the rewiring --- and avoid making unnecessary holes in the dry walls. He is very practical and thoughtful. He reminded me of the need of installing EV charger, though at this moment I do not have one, and I accepted his suggestion. He also helped me find a place to put my sub-panel, meeting the city requirements and it looks nice when done. He also has an excellent communication skill, and this proved to be quite essential when the PG&E service person was reluctant to cooperate.
