I called Rob when another electrician tried to up-sell me to rewire the main box because the long-gone manufacturer had some issues with a box, etc. A GC told me that was unnecessary. I then called Rob. He installed what I needed and fixed an A/C problem quickly and efficiently, charged me his minimum, and everything has been fine.“

They offered to reschedule me for the following morning or later that same day. I chose later that day and Derek showed up as promised and completed the job in half the time they originally estimated. “I reside in the east bay and was in the market for a whole home generator to assist with frequently scheduled brown outs / general power outages. After receiving several in-home surveys + estimates from various companies (some majorly trying to up-sell me on their large cap generators) I decided to go with TJ. TJ was punctual, knowledgeable, not overly pushy, and his pricing was reasonable. I explained my needs and he supplied me with several options while explaining the pros and cons to each. Ultimately decided to go with a portable generator which his crew was able to hardwire into the house. It works great! Total project time took 2 days. After install, he gave me a crash course on generator use + maintenance and even provided an easy to understand instruction binder with a crate of additional accessories. We appreciate him coming over all the way from the East Bay to the Peninsula at such short notice. Due to CA regulations, each fuse box in each unit needed to be moved from inside the closets which was not in plain view.Each panel in each apartment (7 units plus the Laundry Room) needed to be moved to a visible place in each unit in compliance with the CA apartment code.Miramontes Electric constructed a great plan, very timely, very reasonable, and at a fair cost. “We contacted Peter Erwin within a few weeks before the deadline for net-metering (NEM) 2.0 applications in California. This was after one of the big solar companies had declined our project because our main panel was not considered solar ready.
