BodyPump is a great class. I love it and hate it because it works everything and forces ME to work everything! Instructors Lizzy, Larise, and Nora are very motivating and knowledgeable. They make a tough class flow more easily. Carol is a great yoga and Pilates coach and instructor. She gets the class moving and always offers a challenging experience crafted for all levels of ability. Always very supportive and fun!
Nice facility. More than meets the eye initially. Very friendly and informative staff. Showed me around this one. It wasn't too busy when I went either. Plenty of weights as well. The hydro spa was so awesome.
The bad:
The hours are not great for people who like late workouts.
The traffic knot surrounding the mall is a pain.
The good:
The place is VERY clean. You don't appreciate this until you go to another gym (like the 24 Hour Fitness on Navajo). The Chuze La Mesa has a strong workforce and customer culture of keeping everything very clean. Everyone wipes off everything after use. The employees are constantly circling like sharks for any trash or debris, with back-mounted vacuum cleaners.
The equipment is in great condition.
