However - We've been seeing Dr Lum for over 7 years, since we first arrived in San Diego. He's always attentive, considerate, kind and gives us plenty of options and choices of care. “I had a great first experience with the optometrist, Dr. Cha. He seemed approachable, professional, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. However, the front desk staff could improve their communication and customer service. When selecting and purchasing my glasses, I had to ask about things like polycarbonate lenses instead of being informed upfront. Additionally, I didn’t receive any text or phone call reminders for my appointment. I had to call the day before, since my appointment was on Presidents Day, to make sure they were still seeing me.

My appointment was on 2/17/25, and I was told I’d receive a call when my glasses were ready for pickup. It’s now 3/5/25, and I never got that call. I had to reach out myself today, only to find out my glasses are ready for pick up. The front desk staff isn’t rude, but they don’t go the extra mile in terms of communication or follow-ups, which is disappointing.

On the plus side, parking is great as the place is located in a small plaza.“

“Been going here the past 5 years! Clean and quick. Just recently had a contact exam. Dr was very kind and effective. Was a bit disappointed at the additional 75 dollar 'fitting' fee on top of exam cost. I didn't realize these were separate costs when I asked the price of the exam over the phone, will ask more questions next time. Overall good experience. Definitely returning!“

“My first time going to an Eye Clinic, and since I stepped in I felt welcome and acknowledged. Starting withJulie at the front desk who was very nice and attentive, then Dr. K was amazing!! I was nervous so she helped me relax and made everything so much easier, and she really looked into every detail to make sure my eyes are healthy, and last, but definitely not least, Amanda assisting me with fitting my glasses, and trying to help me for everything to adjust to my budget and taking care of my concerns.
