I've been coming to this practice since I was in elementary school (I'm a 20yrs+ client), back when they were originally located off Otay Lakes Rd in the Ralph's shopping center across from Bonita High. Dr. Mason was my optometrist at the time, but since he recently retired earlier this year, I now see Dr. Trajano. Dr. Trajano and Dr. Kikunaga are the current practicing optometrists.I've always enjoyed coming to my annual eye appointments. Throughout the years, the staff have always been friendly and nice. Dr Kikunaga is my new Optometrist. I have VSP eye insurance which is accepted at Bonita Point Family Optometry (Now part of Total Vision). They have a huge selection of eyewear. I was very pleased with the variety which included high end designer frames . The representative that assisted me with my VSP plan provided excellent customer service. The representative explained what I qualified for and exactly how much my selections would cost. I am very happy with Dr Kikunaga and his staff.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kikunaga for many years now. I called at 8 am and was able to be seen at 9 am the same day due to seeing floaters (black squiggly lines) for the first time. I appreciate that he was able to fit me in during his very busy schedule. It was reassuring to know that there were no issues with my retina at this time. Since he is aware of my eye history and severe nearsightedness, Dr. Kikunaga made me a priority.
