“Our AC unit was damaged due to a recent PGE power outage. As this occurred during the Labor Day weekend (2025), I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find an HVAC technician on the holiday. Well, Travis from Central Cal Heating & Air responded quickly to my text (3 minutes!) and was able to be at our home within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor due to the power outage), replaced it with a capacitor he had on his truck, and we were back in business in about 15 minutes. Now the house is cool again!

Very thankful for Travis's professionalism, rapid response, and repair on a holiday. The service was smooth and very quick, and the entire experience was A+.

“I went to take my mom's to take her on an appointment and the house has in the 50's with the furnace blower running. Not great. Since I came from out of town, I didn't have time to reach out to a bunch of companies to fix the problem. I sent out a blast message and guess what I found? You guessed it. 'Not for 3 weeks'. ' It's a $150 service call, not including repairs'. Mind you, this was the next day too. Burrrr. Didn't expect I was going to hang in an Igloo that night, but I did. Verdegaal Heating came through. I had to get back to the Bay Area and time was an issue. If I couldn't find a great company like Verdegaal, I would've had my mom stay at my house till it could get fixed. Did I mention someone said 3 weeks? Haha.Laura reached out the next day and set up the appt. between 1and 3 and Cory (amazing) was there right at 1. Call this company first. It's an older model furnace and he still fixed it with a universal part. If he had to order a part for our exact model might, that might have taken weeks. Cory's awesome. “Frank and his team installed a new heat pump system during our recent home renovation in Los Altos. He personally showed up for the initial consult and remained on point throughout the process including helping us decide between traditional vs heat pump, identifying manufacturers eligible for tax rebates, optimal register/vent placements and permitting.
