“I went there for the first time with my two kids (6 & 10 yrs old). They loved the place as it is cozy, warm and comfortable. As per the hair cut, it went amazing for my picky kids and they loved their new styles. The barber was kind, patient and humble. As per pricing, you got to call to get an estimate. Lastly, its location may be hidden to those who are unfamiliar with Hayward. I would make sure I know exactly where is the shop before I make an appointment; as far as I know, there are no walk-ins.“

“I have been coming to Mercy’s Hairstylist for a couple of years, I was looking for a great stylist because I don’t want to change, and I am fortunate that I found Mercy. I love how she does my hair, I bring a picture of how I want it and she does it exactly. She takes the necessary time to do my hair, I don’t feel rushed like in other places. She is also very friendly and so is her staff.“

“Came here to have Mark cut my 2yr old son's hair. It was his first time going to a barber. Appointment was easy to setup online. Mark was patient with my little guy and was great at checking what my son's vibe was going to be with have clippers buzzing at his head. Once he knew he could tolerate it, he went to work and gave my son the cleanest cut. He was getting so many compliments over the next weeks. Will definitely be coming back for all his cuts.“

“I've been to Antonio's three times now. The chemistry between the three barbers and their clients is fun to see. The cross conversation, from sports to politics is entertaining on its own. The level of attention and the quality of service is top notch. I decided to try growing a beard, literally for the first time in my 65 years. Even though I only paid for a standard haircut, Maryjane spent almost as much time tending to tidying and shaping the new growth (believe me, I couldn't be more ignorant) as the actual haircut. And she spent plenty of time on that. Any number of times I would have thought we were done, yet she would attend to some detail I know I never would have noticed. Finally, and this ain't nothing, it's got the same vibe as the barbershop experience that I remember from when I was a kid.“

“Brang my son and nephew in for a last minute haircut on a Thursday afternoon, every barber had someone in the chair but I was still greeted promptly and was able to get them both cut in under an hour. I dealt with a barber upstairs and down stairs both were very friendly and I was happy with both haircuts will definitely be returning.“

“Johnny is one of a kind! I bring my elderly father here for a haircut including beard trim. It's definitely a younger crowd kind of barber shop, after our first visit I thought my Dad would feel out of place, but he really feels comfortable with Johnny & wants to keep coming back.
