“I had to take my precious cat Coco to Dr.Lynch as an emergency today. The whole staff very professional, caring and considerate. I was so upset because my cat was not urinating in his box and it had been two days. They did the test they determine that it wasn’t a blockage and I have to say the visit was extremely reasonable. Dr. Lynch never tried to upsell me. If you’re looking for a vet that truly likes what they’re doing I would come to this Office. Dr. Lynch is truly a dying breed of veterinarians.“

“Brought my dog Jake, who was diagnosed with kidney disease earlier this year, for his follow-up. I really like the appointment-only setup now — it makes visits so much less stressful. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years and have always trusted Dr. Rios with my dogs and cat. The front desk staff are always friendly and professional. Bobby needed a dental cleaning but his heart issue made me very nervous for anesthesia. “I find that Beach Vet offers services at great prices. I really value Dr. Ena Valikov's expertise and years of experience when diagnosing health issues for my two cats.

Recently booked one of my cats for oral surgery to remove diseased teeth with a provider Dr. Val recommended, and they provided great care. But my cat experienced some troubling side effects due to the topical anesthesia used (Zorbium) and, when he'd otherwise returned to his normal self, he still wasn't walking with a regular gait post surgery, but scooting along his hind legs. I wasn't able to book a follow-up with one of their vets fast enough, so I turned to Beach Vet.

Dr. Val was initially worried about intervening diagnostically with the outcome of a procedure performed elsewhere, but ultimately kindly agreed to check over my cat to ensure he wasn't dealing with something that could be remedied quickly and simply, like constipation (a Zorbium side effect). Just consulting with Dr. Val really eased my mind and using the small amounts of baby aspirin as she recommended seemed to speed the recovery of his mobility. Now he's back to 100% and healthier than ever.“

Dr. Streiber went far above and beyond for our family during one of the most gut wrenching experiences we’ve ever faced with our dog, Silver. From the moment we received her osteosarcoma diagnosis, he treated us with extraordinary compassion, patience, and honesty.

Dr. Streiber spent multiple hour-long phone calls with my wife and me, carefully explaining Silver’s diagnosis, the possible progression of the disease, and the various treatment options available. He never rushed us, never spoke in vague terms, and never made us feel like “just another case.” Instead, he took the time to truly educate us—so we could make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions that felt right for Silver and for our family.

What meant the most to us was how deeply personal his care felt. He was willing to speak with us after hours, consistently followed through, and made it clear through his actions that he genuinely cared about Silver—not just as a patient, but as a beloved member of our family. During moments when we felt overwhelmed and scared, his calm guidance and empathy made all the difference.

“This is an establishment that I took two of my former dogs to over 30 years ago. I have a new puppy and she’s back with them as well. They give very thorough examinations and they go over each item in detail on the invoice until you understand. The office is clean! Very clean. You’d think you were there for a human. HOWEVER, This is what I expect from any hospital human or animal. It makes you feel very comfortable. And the knowledgeable staff is very friendly, informative, and the doctors and staff provide information in layman’s terms. They spend enough time with you to ensure you are comfortable and fully informed. I’m so glad to be back with a professional and caring animal hospital. And to be back with MY Avalon Animal and Bird Hospital! And I say many thanks to them, and to those reading this review, make your appointment now for your fur baby, feathered baby, or whatever baby you have. You won’t regret it. Oh, and the comments you may read about not being able to go inside is false. They may have gone during the pandemic and was not allowed in. Only the pet. But you absolutely ? can go inside. As you should. And I was placed in a very clean room with my Roxi. So I’m not sure where they get that from. They do have signs posted for drop offs or pick ups, but that sign is for those with disabilities or who can’t walk in. I hope that clears up some of the misleading post. Because I had to call them once there because I read the post and then saw the signs and I almost didn’t go. I’m so glad I did my own investigation because that is not the experience I remember from my past visits with my former pets. And they still had the records on both of my former pets! That was really over 30 years ago. I had both of those dogs when my daughter was a young child and she’s 37 now. And it’s the same warm, friendly, informative services I remember. Judge for yourself. You’ll be glad you did.“

“I was very nervous after reading the reviews online, but turns out they were very wrong. Everyone there was nice. my cat Itachita, has had diarrhea and eyeboogers. when they checked, it was fast and they pointed out that switching her food was most likely the cause of diarrhea. which i had NO IDEA that could happen. thankfully they were not judgy and told me if i wanted to still check for parasites im more than welcome to. which i did. They are very cheap. everything all together came out to around $250 which included the parasite test, and eye test to make sure there was no scratches or straining, her medications (she got two) , as well as her exam. For me THATS CHEAP. I used to go to another vet clinic that would've charged me $600 for that. (and they said they were low cost) Seriously guys, don't do walk ins just make an appointment to save your time because majority of the reasons why it takes so long to get to you IS BECAUSE YOU DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.

Overall i do feel like they did it pretty fast, i felt a little iffy but they told me that i can do test to assure me and my little fluffy baby.“
