“I've been coming to Chantel for a little under 12 years now and that alone speaks for itself.
She is someone who is very passionate with her craft and never
stops learning and growing, adapting new techniques to better enhance all the services she provides all while creating a space that feels like a sanctuary, a safe space every time you enter.
She is more than a hair stylist. To me she's felt like an older sister, a friend, therapist, teacher and mentor.
Every time I sit in her chair we get to touch on different topics ranging from conspiracy theories to the state of the world to whatever personal life things might be happening at the time.
I was about 18 when I had first met her. She had a salon room in her condo with black and white beetle juice like stripes on the walls. Being with her since then I've had the privilege of watching her grow and get to open her very own space.
She's a perfectionist and if she thinks she can do an even more amazing job she'll take that extra time on you.
She's the biggest hype woman, honest, funny, a beautiful person inside out.
You'll get nothing but good vibes + leaving your appointment with her feeling more confident, seen, relaxed than before you entered. The quality of her work is worth every penny you spend. She's worth it and so are you.
If you pay close attention and ask the right questions you could learn a lot from her and maybe even get to steal some songs from her Alina Baraz + Jhene Aiko playlist she tends to be playing.
