“I suffered a bad break and dislocation in my right ankle about 25 years ago. For a long time, it was okay, but as I got into my 40s, arthritis really started to set in. It got to the point in the past few years that I could barely walk a mile (running was out of the question) without limping and/or having deep discomfort. A surgeon I consulted with recommended I do physical therapy, but I was dubious that it would have any real effect.However, working with Dr. Ko helped me regain both mobility and some added durability. I don't think running marathons is in my near future (not that it ever really was), but I have been able to really improve my day-to-day life, and the instances where my ankle feels extremely weakened or painful have grown fewer and farther between. As the parent of a four-year-old, and an active person as well, this has been a real boon.Add to all this the fact that Dr. Ko has a great disposition, as does the office staff, and it really made for an incredibly positive experience working with them.
