From the aesthetics of the shop, to the amenities and conversation. Sometimes if I don't feel like talking the silence can be nice as well . A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.“

I left town and when I returned some time later during my early twenties; turns out, his son Vaughn runs the shop after Rudy passed, (God Bless His Soul,. RIP RUDY ! ) I thought Rudy was the best at his time !, I found out his son Vaughn is even better ! So that tells me one thing Rudy was better at, that was teaching , he taught his son; who is a natural, n cuts hair even better than his Dad !, sorry Rudy ! He is actually a barber, (dad taught him well ! ) He really knows what hair style will work best for you. I have seen him recommend a hair style to someone, n they say, nah I want it like this. Vaughn says , ok . .Then they decide it doesn't look good , he then will suggest a fix, cuts a little, then he'll suggest another. They agree.By the time he finishes the haircut, (this part really makes me laugh, I have seen it so many times before, that part, oh n this in part, hell fix that part the way you want it, n then in the end, it ends in up jus like what Vaughn had suggested, n after all in that. Hell stand back n say, I could have saved you all that time, you ended up with what I was going to give you when I first suggested it, that's why I jus had suggested everything to you. In the end Vaughn is right. I will even admit ! It's happened to me more than a few times . N in the end I was much happier ! He's Very knowledgeable ! Also knows his products he carries n will recommend the better one for you . He also gets to know your schedule or routine. N will tell someone that calls n tries to schedule during your usual time, I usually have someone in around that time, you can come n wait, if he doesn't show, I'll take care of you , but if he comes, I have to take care of him Or make an appointment ? I will make one, ! Awesome shop, you want to talk about sports, there is no a barber there, if not Vaughn that can talk with you. Wanna talk skateboards, Vaughn's your man too!
