Came to this salon based on a recommendation and I was not disappointed.
The Salon is small but has a warm welcoming vibe. Dineen - the stylist who worked on my hair was very friendly and took the time to learn how I wanted my hair cut and styled, she talked to me through the cut to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process.
Since then, I’ve visited about 4/5 times now and I’ve left every-time feeling like a million bucks; there’s nothing like a great haircut to make you feel like a new person.

1st real haircut since the beginning of the Pandemic and I was so very happy it was Abbie at April Ray's Salon in Montrose, who cut it. Love the layers and the much needed lift. Abbie was thoughtful and listened to what I wanted. She gave me a cut that I love working with and I will definitely be back. Maybe next time we'll do some color, too. Have waited a couple of weeks to write a review, just to make sure this is the right cut for me. Abbie did a great job, layering and taking off a lot of length. It has made the day better. I love the choppy layers, which is what I wanted and she worked some kind of magic with the fringe area. I look forward to going back and maybe getting some color. April Ray's Salon is a great place - easy to park and very cute Salon. I was filled with anxiety going in (had been a few years since getting a proper haircut), but Abbie was welcoming and confident. She listened and gave me a really cute cut. An excellent experience from start to finish. Thank you, Abbie!
