Best barbershop in Glendale by far and a longstanding LA institution. Ernie's grandson (who studied under Ernie), Zach, runs the shop these days. He, Greg, and Sam are A+ barbers that won't let you leave the shop looking anything less than GREAT.Services: Long haircut

CASH ONLY! There is an ATM in the liquor store next door, but it has a fee. This is an old school barber shop in almost every way. The haircut worked out great. The barber, Sam was friendly and he got me in without notice. I do recommend making an appointment though. I'll be back!

Ernie’s Barber Shop was established in 1955. It has become a staple to the community over the 67 years we have been in business. Zach Ernie’s Grandson is now running the barber shop, and keeping it as it once was. But also catering to a younger crowd, with 3 barbers, that are very skilled in Skin Fades, Gentleman's haircuts, tapers, hot towel shaves, kids, and flattops. And every cut in between.
