“If peak customer service had to be described by one place… It’d be this salon. This was one of the best experiences I had just from getting my hair done. I actually got a korean wavy perm last year, but never had the time to leave a thoughtful review. Nevertheless, I still want to leave my input for future customers and Jason himself. A year later, given that it’s extremely overgrown now I still surprisingly have a couple loose curls at the ends of my hair. The perm was great, looked great for a long time. The price is a reasonable investment. I have no negative criticism, in fact, it was beyond what I’d expected. I was actually having a pretty bad day, but seeing the care and thoughtfulness Jason had for his clients really touched my heart. Immediately, I was greeted warmly. There were snacks offered, and he even recommended a Kdrama for me to watch on a laptop while I was getting my perm done. If that wasnt enough, he even bought me kimbap for lunch. At the end, my dad couldn’t pick me up in time, and he offered to let me stay and continue watching while waiting even after my perm was completely done. At the end, he sent me off with leftover snacks and ice cream, and when I asked about where I should get perm creams, he told me that the salon sells some. I didn’t have enough pocket money, so I politely declined. But then, Jason gifted it to me, saying I can pay it back if I want. I definitely will, even with this being so late. One surprise after another. I haven’t been to many hair salons, but I doubt I’d even choose another. This salon was one of my many choices, and I’m glad I ended up here. So, if you need a dealbreaker, let this be it! I can’t emphasize my review enough. To Jason and his coworker, this may have just been another day, to me, this was a meaningful experience that I’ll remember deeply. Customers are people too, even though we don’t personally know each other, thank you for treating them so kindly.“

“Appointments only on Sundays. I reached out on yelp and Fadi replied quickly ... it said within 10min and I agree it was that quick. Many businesses take some time to reply, if at all. They send an invoice for a down payment of sorts, just $25 to reserve your spot. Maria was my hair stylist who colored and cut my hair. I didnt have any inspo pics or really know what I wanted, except to go lighter and shorter. She suggested I dont go as short and she was right! I just wanted a change and even though it was my first time with them, I trusted their input. Hair may grow, but mine doesn't grow that fast. Maria has a calm and chill vibe and I like that no other services or products were being pushed on me like other places. They do offer snacks and beverages, which I declined this time, but I like that its available ... like when you go to a friend's house. All about hospitality! The price is similar to other salons, but this is only a 15 min drive and the staff makes a difference. I would definitely come back!“
