Mitchell Air replaced our AC unit with a system that was too small to cool the house efficiently. Consequently it broke down the first summer and we were without AC for the whole month of August.They did not ever admit what they did wrong and put a bandaid on the unit after putting us off for a month. Of course the system broke down again, brand new unit at the cost of $6000.Life was very difficult at that time as our severely handicapped son was living at home and we had our hands full.Long story short, we ended up calling another company to come out. My 28 year old HVAC unit was in urgent need of being replaced. I called Ken Mitchell who sent out a technician to diagnose the unit and evaluate the roof area for a replacement. Ken recommended a Goodman package unit as a replacement with the SEER ratings I wanted. The price was very reasonable and the unit is covered by an excellent warranty. I called on a Tuesday, the technician came on Wednesday, and the unit was installed on Friday. In addition to the unit, a new intake grille was installed, along with 3 smoke detectors in each bedroom, and a carbon monoxide detector by the intake duct.
