“The POS world can be tricky when you look at costs and features - and do we really need ALL of those bells and whistles? Nick of Peninsula POS took the time to patiently and clearly explain their highly recommended POS system. Since we are a cafe, he is an expert in what cafes really need without being pushy. His Customer Service is what closes the deal. He truly understands what a restaurant needs and explains the operation of the software at your level - customized to our specific food service. A pizzeria (with all the options for a pizza) has different needs than a casual cafe. It's been over a year, and Nick has kept his watchful eye over us and helped us grow with the system, making updates as needed. He takes you from start to finish in setting up the right computer setup, with quality components; proper backup; software training; and, telling us that we don't need to spend the extra money on something that can be successfully accomplished with a lower priced piece of equipment. Nick also advises on the EDC which is required to run credit cards through the POS software and the Merchant Services that are compatible. We are food people - not IT people - and trust me, TAKE THIS ADVICE, that many have previously advised us on: get the Service Contract. It is reasonably priced and should be a MUST.
