“This is the coolest secret hangout in Mill Valley. Such a special place to pop in and chill, or bring a friend and enjoy a cup of tea and a game. Not only are there several really cool chill spaces, there seems to be an endless supply of tea and sometimes cookies that just magically appear. The art installations are top notch. What a unique find and creative idea, we are so lucky to have a place like this. It's kinda hard to explain, so just go check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean.“

“Eric and his crew were amazing. I recently had two very large and sick trees removed from my front yard and the landscaping there was non-existent. Eric listened to what I wanted and then drove me around to look at yards similar to what I wanted so I could get some ideas. Once I decided to proceed with Rayner Landscaping, Eric drew up a landscaping plan and a crew of six was out the next day. The entire project was complete in three days (would have been two days but we had to wait for a few of the plants that were not in stock). His crew prepared the area, removing all the wood chips from the tree removal, installed irrigation, and brought in soil, plants, rocks and mulch. They also replaced a fence and repaired our walkway to the house. Eric was there for a long time every day, even working with his crew, and he made sure everything was installed just right. They even pruned some of my other trees and cleaned up other areas of my yard without charging me extra. Can't say enough about their professionalism and attention to detail. Now I have a front yard I am proud of!“

“My garden was overgrown with weeds and really needed help. I interviewed 4 different landscaping companies and Bill had the best quote for the big job needed. He completely landscaped my garden according to my vision of having a sort of French country garden. He installed a drip irrigation system that continues to save water use several years hence. He also provides monthly upkeep and is always responsive to my phone calls. I don't know what happened with the prior customer review, but I know from my personal experience with Bill that he would give an honest response regarding feasibility of landscaping a garden for a reasonable cost. I wouldn't use anyone else as he has proven himself trustworthy over the three years he has worked on the upkeep of his design. I love driving up to my home and seeing the beautiful, lush garden surrounding it. It makes such a difference!“

“We have worked with Zach and the team at G on two hardscape projects over the last five years. In both, we basically had the design vision, and Zach helped us refine it and execute on it. We are very pleased with the result of the projects, both of which have made our home more comfortable and enabled us to realize indoor-outdoor living. The projects included large poured concrete pads for the front walk, laying of prefabricated concrete pavers on the sideyard and back, a pergola and deck, and lighting, drainage, and the main irrigation lines throughout.Zach was very responsive, and his team leads knew their stuff and were very friendly easy to work with. The pavers on the side- and back-yard took longer than Zach had initially planned for, in part because this was a product his team had never worked with. Nonetheless, they stuck with it and did a good job with the grading and fulfilled our rather complicated design vision perfectly. Guests always comment on how nice the pavers look. Zach's team was also kind to all our established plants in the process, which is not always the case in hardscaping efforts. The team coordinated well with other contractors, too, as we had window replacements and fencing occurring at the same time.Both projects were very reasonable in their price given the labor involved.We highly recommend working with G on your next landscaping project!(*Note that messy plantings in the photos are fully our responsibility, not that of G).“

“They have great selections of various stones, from flat stones to pebbles. Also super sweet and amazing service. We’re doing own project, and the flat stones are too heavy for us. They help us break them in smaller pieces and demonstrated tricks to break them in details so that we can customize them ourselves at home. They also shared great suggestions based on our needs. They are usually in a good mood and excited to see you. * great selection: they carry a wide supply of top brands like Hunter, Netafim, Toro, etc. In addition to drip irrigation products like valves, hoses, fittings, couplings, and emitters, they also carry many other landscape-related products like lighting, turf, tools, etc. * low prices: they will get you very competitive prices, as low as what you might find online but without the shipping and handling! I've shopped across the three big irrigation supply stores in San Rafael and SiteOne is often the lowest priced, and sometimes has been significantly. * far superior than the local hardware store (orange included.): 10x better selection, staff that will actually help you, and better prices. * they don't advertise that they accept returns but they do. I've found that if you treat them with courtesy you'll get treated like a VIP.“
