My kids have grown tremendously since they started Kovars martial arts. Shihan Sipes brings out the best in both of my girls. I have a 9 year old and a 7 year old with very different strengths and areas of opportunity. He sees them both individually and has helped teach character development and strength training- mentally and physically. We've been coming to Kovar's (Madison) twice a week since 2019. My daughter has made friends and I love how the teachers are spending time on integrity, life skills and healthy living, in addition to exercise and karate moves. They seem to teach with true affection for the students while enforcing rules and holding them to a high standard. They did a great job continuing safely through Covid. My daughter has fun and feels proud of her progress. She will soon be promoting to red belt.
