I booked with him at 8am for a 9am appointment before he had even confirmed, and Ivan still pulled through. He came into the shop on time, even on extremely short notice, and gave me exactly what I asked for.

Even from the moment you walk in, the barbers are welcoming and quick to help wherever it’s needed. The shop is always clean — bathrooms included — the vibes are great, and the conversations are always respectful and appropriate when children are around.

“We were looking for the right barber for my son's 1st hair cut. We looked through IG and found this barber shop. We booked an appointment (easy process) and got seen the same day. The owner was the one who gave my son's his first hair cut and we had such a good experience! He was very patient because my son was 1.5 years old so you know kids can't sit still. Therefore, when I needed a last minute haircut, I took a deep-dive into researching reputable barbers. After browsing many portfolios and reading a plethora of reviews, I found QB. After booking my appointment via the Booksy app, I prepared myself for what would be an exceptional experience.

Upon arriving for my appointment, QB warmly greeted me as he cleaned his chair and motioned for me to take a seat. Since he is not my regular barber, he confirmed my desired style (i.e., length, taper, facial hair) and immediately went to work. Throughout the process he would briefly pause to ensure that he was headed in the right direction (good communication). Towards the end of the appointment, he provided me with a hot towel service that I didn’t know I needed - very relaxing and gave my skin a healthy glow.

I was very satisfied with my haircut, it very much so followed the quality standard set by my primary barber. I found the experience that QB provided to be efficient, but not rushed. As a father, I was impressed to see the barbers change their current music selection when they observed that a small child was present in the shop. Therefore, when I needed a haircut for an upcoming wine tasting event, I took the risk and booked an appointment with a new barber. When I arrived at Barberz Dreme, I was greeted by one of the barbers who inquired whether or not I had an appointment. I mentioned that I had an appointment with James and he pointed him out. While putting the finishing touches on another client’s haircut, James acknowledged and let me know that he would be done in a few minutes. When it was my turn - James inquired about my style of choice, I showed him a photo of a past style, and he went to work.

Throughout the experience we engaged in pleasant conversation and he did a great job of inquiring about certain styling details (i.e., whether I wanted my mustache to be slim or thick). Although there was a very good game between the Oklahoma Thunder and Phoenix Suns playing on a TV behind him; instead of pausing to watch the game, he would ask a fellow barber for updates. This was a testament to his desire to remain focused on the task at hand and ensure that he completed the cut in a timely manner, I truly appreciated this.

Considering that this was my first time working with James, the haircut exceeded my expectations. When I entered our home, my wife did a full 3.14 (the circumference of a circle) to inspect my haircut. She gave me a look of approval and suggested that James should be my new barber. As I have learned from past experiences…when my wise wife provides advice, I listen! Thanks James!“
