“About 2 years ago Straight Line came out to repair the siding and window trim at the front of the house. Their work was both professional and well done. When we decided the house needed painting we called Straight Line again to repair the water damage at the back of the house. Omar, Jack, and Tommy came out before the first rain and repaired the the siding and trim once again. I can recommend Straight Line with no reservations. They are a small family-owned and family-run roofing company here in the Sacramento/Placer county area and everyone I interacted with at this company was just a gem.While we hired Jones Family Roofing in 2023, our story goes back to 2017. Recently widowed, my mom saw something she though meant she needed a new roof. She mentioned this to her HVAC serviceman who referred her to Jones Family Roofing.Richard came out to look at my mom's concerns and he assured her that her roof was perfectly fine and should be for another 5-6 years. She was relieved and when she told me this story, I asked her to give me their contact info so I could save it in my phone for anyone else needing roof work done. Richard (or someone else) could have so VERY easily taken advantage of my mother and just agreed that she needed a new roof just to get the work, but Richard was a stand-up guy and his integrity spoke volumes about him, his family, and his company.Fast forward 6 years, sadly my mother passed away and now it was us kids needing to re-roof the home prior to having family move into the house. Jones family came out quickly and provided an extremely competitive quote. It wasn't the lowest quote we received, but the 2017 interaction had scored Jones Roofing MAJOR brownie points with me (and my brothers) so we decided to award them the job.Jean in the office was so sweet and helpful/kind with any and all questions that we had. Our job took place on time and remained on schedule. I went over to check on the crew and spoke with Jean's grandson/Richard's nephew who was on the job (can't remember his name, darn it) and he was super kind and genuine as well. I didn't meet the tear-off crew but it was all Jones boys putting the roof on the house. “Hello Everyone! So after multiple complications with our first roofer we hired and after being left hanging on our roof I had to find someone to complete my half done roof. We interviewed so many roofers and it was very unsettling as to trust a new roofer all over again. I collected about 4 estimates on getting my shingles put on and gutters after our first roofer just never returned to finish the job. After the 4 estimates we just didn't feel secure enough nor did we vibe with anyone in particular and the pricing was definitely up there after we had already put out money with the first roofer. Buuutttt FINALLY, my husband came across CODY and his crew. I was hesitant because his company had NO reviews, but after meeting him and discussing the price and contract I was beyond satisfied. We signed the contract that day and the very next day he had our shingles delivered! Right after that CODY and his crew wasted NO time on completing my roof. Very Satisfied and just so thankful he was honest, reasonable, and professional. Thank you CODY! Also thank your crew again! :)“
